Accuquilt

I bought my Accuquilt Go! and the 12 inch Mix and Match Die Set several years ago. It has been a great help to me as (a) I hate cutting and (b) the system produces accurate cuts each and every time. With thoughtful set up, there is very little fabric waste, too!

Since then, Accuquilt has updated their system to make cutting and piecing quilts even easier. The Qubes system provides exceptional organization and storage along with amazing flexibility. Coupled with the wide variety of Block On Board (BOB) and specialty shapes dies and you will be amazed at the ease of creating beautiful quilts. (The seam allowance is already built in and there are no dog ears to trim!)

Bluprint

I’ve long been a fan of DIY or How To shows. A few years ago, I discovered Craftsy online and was hooked!

The teachers were people I had either followed or knew of from other crafters. The feedback about the classes on the site was informative and useful. The site itself, was very user friendly.

A few years back, Craftsy became Bluprint and the classes and topics offered expanded. Many of the original Craftsy classes are still available, but there are loads of new classes and the array of topics has expanded, too.

One thing I really like is the ability to pay for a month (or a year) at a time, instead of paying a fee for each class. I can binge on my favorite show (The Midnight Quilter) or take my time. If I choose to stop for a while, it is not big deal.

Class materials come loaded with information and are easily downloaded so I can update my shopping list or print to use wherever I need. And, if I want to, I can reach out to the instructor with questions.

So, if you need to jump start your creativity, Get Started With Bluprint. Don’t forget to check out the free classes!
